09.03.2010 Cablecom makes access to digital TV in HD quality and Internet easier and cheaper
  From June 2010, cablecom upgrades the cable connection of 1.5 million Swiss households and introduces a new basic digital TV offer with 55 channels including HD suisse. Cable TV customers can get access to this new of-fer via a fully interactive HD set-top box and additional features for only CHF 4 per month, or via the DigiCard for CHF 99 and without extra monthly costs. The cablecom cable connection also comes with new free Internet connection and transmission speed of 300 Kbit/s. The upgrade of the unchanged ba-sic analogue package and the additional options are linked with an increase in the service charge for the cable connection of CHF 0.70 to a total of CHF 23.20, in agreement with the price regulator.

25.02.2010 400,000 customers watch cablecom digital television
  After Liberty Global Europe’s posting of the annual results for 2009, cablecom reports an increase in annual sales of CHF 7 million to CHF 1,105 million. In the strategically important segment of digital television, cablecom recorded around 400,000 customers by mid February 2010. Compared with the end of 2009 (379,000 customers), the company has seen accelerating growth over the past few weeks.

17.02.2010 Cablecom expands Fiber Power services to the city of St. Gallen
  After Zurich, Bern and Winterthur, also the city of St. Gallen can now enjoy the Fiber Power services offered by cablecom. Fiber Power is the next generation of high-speed Internet and offers download speeds of up to 100 Mbit/s and higher upload volumes. Cablecom customers can now surf the net up to five times faster than with the quickest DSL providers. Fiber Power is currently available to almost 50% of Swiss households with cablecom connections; most of the remaining households will have access by the end of 2010.

11.02.2010 Cablecom expands customer service and marketing
  Launched in autumn 2009, its «Changing for you» programme aims to radically strengthen customer focus throughout the entire company. As a result, the company has created the new Operational Excellence & Customer Ex-perience department. Cablecom is also aligning its marketing organisation with the new customer-centric corporate strategy.

26.01.2010 Winter Olympics in HD – cablecom makes it possible
  Right on time for the start of the Winter Olympics on 12 February 2010 in Van-couver, cablecom is launching the HD version of the two public service stations ARD and ZDF in its basic digital TV package - at no extra charge. The two German channels will be activated in high-definition quality on 2 February.
