Choose the paperless billing option now.

Electronic billing is an integral part of your combination deal.
For the first two billing periods after concluding the contract, paper bills are free of charge. Afterwards we will charge CHF 1.50 per paper bill.

What kind of paperless billing is available?

The following three types of paperless billing are provided:

  • Billing via e-mail (particularly suited to e-banking)
  • Paynet (billing via the e-banking portal of the participating banks)
  • Yellowbill (billing via the e-banking portal of PostFinance)

How can I switch to paperless billing?

Billing via e-mail
For e-mail billing, please go to the Online Customer Services and register there with your personal login data.  Change the billing method to "e-mail" under invoice/invoice settings

FAQs

    • Why is paperless billing a fixed part of the combination deals?
Paperless billing is a condition of the new combination deals, which provide a long-term cost saving for customers.  The cost saving on sending invoices is already calculated into these prices.
We recommend that you choose paperless billing.

    • When can I opt for paperless billing?
Because you cannot immediately apply for paperless billing when you place an order, the first two paper invoices are sent free-of-charge.
You can opt for free electronic invoice delivery at any time once you have your personal login data (customer number, MAC address of your modem or Smartcard ID for your mediabox).

    • Why can’t I apply for paperless billing as soon as I order the product?
To register for paperless billing, you need your personal login data (customer number, the MAC address of your modem or the Smartcard ID for your mediabox).
Billing via Paynet or Yellowbill must be applied for at the appropriate bank or at PostFinance. Cablecom is then informed of this by the relevant institution.
The e-mail address has to be validated for billing via e-mail. This is only possible after the appropriate subscription has been activated.

    • What can I do if I want a paper bill?
You don’t need to do anything if you have a combination deal and want a paper bill. Your paper bill will be sent to you at a cost of CHF 1.50 per month for as long as you choose not to switch to paperless billing
The following applies to customers without a combination deal: You receive a monthly paper invoice free of charge provided that the invoice amount is more than CHF 50.—.  You will definitely receive an invoice after a maximum of four months.

    • What does “paperless billing” actually mean?
Paperless billing is a cablecom initiative to reduce the monthly deluge of paper. It is also required by a majority of customers who already pay their invoices by e-banking now and no longer need paper billing.
