No need to worry if you are on holiday or on a business trip. You can access your e-mails anytime and
from anywhere in the world via
www.hispeed.ch. All you need is a computer with an Internet connection. You can
sort your e-mails according to different criteria on the Webmail interface: Sender, subject, data, size,
etc. If you use additional e-mail addresses, you can also display the messages of these addresses conveniently
in Webmail.
The maximum storage space per e-mail address is 500 MB.
The maximum size of an e-mail is restricted to 15 MB (sending and receiving).
Spam
filtering Being flooded with unwanted e-mails is now a thing of the past. If you
wish, cablecom’s spam filter can automatically filter incoming e-mails. You can decide if spam mails
are to be flagged, moved to a spam folder or deleted directly.
Address
book In the address book you can manage your contacts, create groups and forward
e-mails or send SMS. You can also conveniently import or export existing data (i.e. MS Outlook).
Antivirus
Control Incoming e-mails are automatically scanned for viruses. This does not however
replace the need for antivirus software (i.e. Internet
Security Package).
As a hispeed Internet customer, you can use up to 5 e-mail addresses (your.name@hispeed.ch) with one
up-to-date e-mail-programme. E-mails are received via POP3 or IMAP and sent via
SMTP.
The maximum size of an e-mail is restricted to 15 MB (sending
and receiving).
You can conveniently send messages to individuals or groups via www.hispeed.ch.
You can indicate the time at which an SMS is to be sent. If the recipient is not available, you can
enter a callback number. Likewise, you can have a delivery acknowledgement sent to your e-mail address
or mobile phone.
Cablecom credits you with a certain number of points
every month depending on your subscription, and you can use these points to send SMS free of charge.
You can purchase additional points if these are not sufficient. Text messages are limited to 160 characters.
You can use Online Storage to save documents and pictures and then access these from anywhere. All you
need is a computer and an Internet connection. Managing your data is child’s plays with the handy Windows
Client or the web browser. You can also create a photo album and provide your friends with access to
individual files or entire folders.
Design your own personal homepage with cablecom. This can then be accessed by the whole world at http://homepage.hispeed.ch/YourName.
You decide what your web page should look like and which content you would like to present. Maybe

to help you.
Once you have registered, you will be able to set up the
following services on your homepage: mail, guest book and counter. The directory allows you to enter
your homepage under four different categories. This makes it easier for visitors to find your homepage.
