1. Installing hispeed internet

Installing the Internet modem is very easy and there is no need for a technician.  Just insert the modem provided by us and off you go. Are you using a wireless LAN router as well? No problem – that’s easy to install too.

Important:  We recommend that you use the installer CD included in the delivery. This CD allows you to optimise your Internet speed, set up your webmail and make your e-mail address settings. You can also activate your wireless LAN router, if you are using one. Place the installer CD in your computer drive and the software will take you through installation step-by-step. It’s as easy as that!


2. Optional accessories

WLAN:	Wireless transmission of internet data (up to 30 meters inside buildings and 300 meters in free air)
	All you need is an easy-to-install supplementary device – a  Wireless LAN router. This is connected directly to the hispeed modem and transmits the internet signal to your computer.
	Security: The wireless transmission of internet signals with a wireless LAN router is protected against unauthorised access. During the simple installation process you will be asked if you want to encrypt the transmitted internet signal. Simply answer “yes”, the rest is completed automatically.
	Current offer: Netgear Wireless-N Router WNR2000 FOR FREE instead of CHF 79.–. For Fiber Power internet customers we recommend Wireless 300N XR Gigabit Gaming Router of Sitecom for CHF 170.–.
